Alpha Mode

Pressing asterick.jpg - 1158 Bytes turns the alpha mode on and off. The alpha mode is only used to assign a name to a phone number.
Letters may be entered when the menu is in the alpha mode by pressing the appropriate key to select the correct letter. To enter B press the key displaying ABC. The first time the key is pressed, A is displayed, the second time B is displayed. Therefore press the key twice. The cpad.jpg - 1205 Bytes key moves the cursor to the right and the dpad.jpg - 1207 Bytes key moves the cursor to the left. Space, Q, and Z are entered by pressing 1pad.jpg - 1131 Bytes .

The menu enables you to customize your personal contact phone numbers, set the clock and select the frequency of the radio station broadcasting information to your unit. To view the menu press the B key. This allows you to select from a list of 1pad.jpg - 1131 Bytes , 2pad.jpg - 1161 Bytes , 3pad.jpg - 1243 Bytes , or 4pad.jpg - 1194 Bytes .
