C. Alarm Setting

pound.jpg - 1198 Bytes Toggles the alarm BEEP, CONT, or OFF. This does not affect the emergency alarm. You must be out of Alpha Mode to program this feature. To exit Alpha Mode press the asterick.jpg - 1158 Bytes key.The cursor should now be on the number line.

The Community Messenger has a built in alarm clock with a battery back up.
From the Main Screen:
Press bpad.jpg - 1186 Bytes to select the menu.
Press 2pad.jpg - 1161 Bytes to select the Set Clock/Alarm mode.
Enter the correct time and date using the numbers on the key pad.
pound.jpg - 1198 Bytes Selects the alarm type, OFF, CONT, RAD
asterick.jpg - 1158 Bytes switches the cursor from setting the alarm to setting the time.
apad.jpg - 1163 Bytes Selects either AM or PM when the cursor is positioned on the alarm or current time.
cpad.jpg - 1205 Bytes stores changes and returns you to the main screen.
Always return to the Main Screen or the alarm will not sound!
