A. Personal Contact Phone Numbers

The owner of the Community Messenger is able to create a personalized list of organizations and their access numbers (usually their phone numbers).
For example, information about the next meeting of the Tennis Club, can be found by keying in that phone number. To set your personal contact phone numbers from the main screen:

Press bpad.jpg - 1186 Bytes to select the menu.
Press 1pad.jpg - 1131 Bytes to set Phone Number.
Press 1pad.jpg - 1131 Bytesto select Personal Numbers
Press bpad.jpg - 1186 Bytesto move down the list until you get to an empty location
Enter the phone number xxx-xxxx and then press asterick.jpg - 1158 Bytes to move the cursor to the name line and turn the alpha mode on. If the alpha mode is on, you may enter letters from the keypad to enter the name of the individual or organization you are adding to your contact list. If it is off the keypad just enters numbers.

B. Emergency Contact Phone Numbers


Entering Emergency contact phone numbers is identical to entering Personal Contact phone numbers:
Press bpad.jpg - 1186 Bytes to select the menu
Press 1pad.jpg - 1131 Bytes to set Phone Number
Press 2pad.jpg - 1161 Bytes to select “Emergency Numbers”

C. Alpha Mode

Each telephone number may be named using letters. Letters may be entered when the menu is in the alpha mode by pressing the appropriate key to select the correct letter. For example to enter F, press key 3pad.jpg - 1243 Bytes, three times. The first time the key is pressed, D is displayed, the second time E is displayed and the third time, F is displayed. To toggle back from line 2 to line 1, press asterick.jpg - 1158 Bytes .
dpad.jpg - 1207 Bytes moves the cursor to the left.
cpad.jpg - 1205 Bytes moves the cursor to the right when entering the name.
The 1pad.jpg - 1131 Bytes key is clear, space, Q or Z.
bpad.jpg - 1186 Bytes takes you down the list of phone numbers.
apad.jpg - 1163 Bytes takes you back up. To exit this mode press asterick.jpg - 1158 Bytes until the flashing cursor is on the number line then press cpad.jpg - 1205 Bytes to return to the main screen.
Pressing cpad.jpg - 1205 Bytes will back you out to the main screen when entering a phone number. While in the menu selection Set Phone Numbers, you may change the message alarm setting for each individual entry.
